Bonnie Mae Callahan, 93, Nevada, Missouri, passed away May 16, 2012 at the Joe Clark Residential Care Home surrounded by her family. Bonnie was born November 17, 1918, in El Dorado, MO, to Frank and Jeane E. (Bybee) Brown. Bonnie graduated from Harwood High School, Harwood, MO, and worked at the State hospital in both the Housekeeping and Dietary Departments, and was a waitress at Veith's Café on the Square in Nevada. She was a member of the Community of Christ Church. Bonnie married Lloyd Callahan, November 2, 1936, in Ft. Scott, Kansas. They had one daughter Pat Meisenheimer, Nevada, Missouri. Preceding Bonnie are her husband Lloyd, March 14, 1980 and her parents. Bonnie is survived by her daughter, Pat and husband, Don Meisenheimer, of Nevada, MO; grandsons Jason Meisenheimer and wife, Heather, of Nevada, MO; Brett Meisenheimer, of Nevada, MO;, Billy Armstrong and wife Wendy, Smithville, MO; 8 great-grandchildren; and 4 great-great grandchildren. She will be missed by many.
