Obituary of Donna McColm

On December 10th, 2011, at the age of 90, Donna passed from this earth surrounded by family. Donna was born May 19, 1921 in Lamar, MO to Guy M. and Eunice L. (Hughes) Lehman. She graduated from Liberal High School. Donna married Earl A. McColm on June 17, 1939 in Greenfield, MO. They made their home in Liberal, MO and then moved to Kansas City, MO in 1959 where Donna was an accounting clerk at Paper Supply Company for 24 years. They moved back to Liberal, MO in 1983 after retiring. Donna was a member of the Liberal Christian Church and a 50 year member of Mt. Hope Chapter #74 of the Order of the Eastern Star. Donna was preceded in death by her parents, her husband of 71 years, Earl, a granddaughter, Gina Davis and a sister, Fern Norris. Donna is survived by sons Donald and wife Betty McColm, Southaven, MS; Larry and wife Jeanette McColm of Kansas City, MO; a daughter Linda and husband Boyd Williams, Blue Springs, MO. Five grandchildren, Lonnie McColm, Connie Vaughn, Jeff McColm, Keith McColm and Todd Williams; 10 great grandchildren and 8 great-great grandchildren; a brother Roy Lehman, Lamar, MO; sisters Mary Ann Faith of Independence, MO and Jennie Routen of Kansas City, MO, many nieces and nephews.
