Obituary of Maurice Cundiff

Maurice Joseph Cundiff, 78, of Lamar, MO. passed away December 31, 2013. He was born June 29, 1935, in Lamar, MO, to Joe and Hazel Kremp Cundiff. Maurice was an agriculture equipment mechanic. He worked for John Deere and Hartzler's in Nevada, MO, Purinton's in Lamar, MO, and farmed with his parents. He was a member of the C S Oliver Hart Par Assn. and a member of many tractor pull clubs. His passion for toy tractors became a business called "SOMO Parts", from 1986-2006. He bought and sold toys and parts, attended many shows and owned an extensive toy tractor collection. Maurice married Charlotte Hughes Erwin, September 6, 1984 in Harrison, AR. He served in the National Guard for nine years. Maurice was a member of Grace Lutheran Church. Maurice was preceded by his parents. He is survived by his wife, Charlotte; daughters, Melody Cundiff, Saundra Wehmeyer and husband, Gary, Sue Renwick and husband, Pat, Sally Phipps and husband, John and Sherry Shaw; sons Bill Erwin Jr. and wife, Janet, Jim Erwin and wife, Vickie, Rick Erwin and wife, Ronda, Russ Erwin and wife, Marian; twenty two grandchildren; twenty five great-grandchildren; brother Marion Cundiff.
