Obituary of Timothy Strevens

Tim Strevens, 36, was taken to his heavenly home suddenly, December 7, 2012, in Crawford County Kansas. Tim was born to Andrew "Andy" and Jeanette "Jenny" Waugh Strevens in Croydon, a suburb of London, England. Tim worked for many years at the Attorney General's office of London, England. After moving to the United States in June of 2012, he was employed as a paralegal by Parmele Law Firm in Joplin, MO. He enjoyed walks, bike riding, picnics, video games, soccer or "football" as it is known in England, and was quite the computer "techy". Tim enjoyed playing family games and most recently took up wood working. He was known for his corny jokes, and his great sense of humor. Tim loved to smile and made others around him smile. His "steel trap" mind was a great asset. Tim was a faithful witness for his Christian beliefs. Tim is survived by his loving wife, Sarah, daughter of Carl and Pat Venable; his parents, Andy and Jenny Strevens; his sister, Liz Venable and her husband, Matt; their children Mark, Hannah, Zaneta and baby Leeza; sister Sarah O'Shaughnessy and her husband, Shaun and their son Joshua; numerous other loving relatives. He was loved by his family and friends, and will be greatly missed.
