Fern "Lucille" Masterson, 90, passed away May 2, 2014, at Truman Healthcare in Lamar, MO. Lucille was born October 17, 1923, to Albert W and Margaret M (Hermann) Hannah in Adrian, MO. Lucille graduated from high school in Adrian. She married Ray Allen Masterson March 1st, 1942. She and Ray were owner and oppertors of the Masterson's Feed and Grain Store and she also cooked for Rotarty, The Whistle Stop and for Trio's Pizza. She was a member of the Lamar United Methodist Church where she enjoyed the fellowship and ministry of making prayer shawls. Her family will always remember how she loved to bottle feed the calves.
Lucille was preceded in death by her Husband Ray, February 19, 1985 a great grandson Derrek Watson, her parents and one brother. Survivors include two sons, Jessie A and Terry R Masterson ; and two daughters; Deloris L Dawe and Donna R Pierson; 14 grandchildren and 29 great grandchildren and 15 great great grandchildren.
