Obituary of Robert Yeager

Robert Thomas Yeager of Lamar, age 86, passed away Friday morning May 23, 2014 at Barton County Memorial Hospital surrounded by his family. He was born in Paola, Kansas February 8, 1928 to Charles and Delma (Shoemaker) Yeager. Robert was in the Navy at the end of WWII and during the Korean war. He was retired from the US Postal Service. He was married to Paula Sue Rogers. They would have been married 47 years on June 3. He is survived by his wife Paula, two daughters Sherry Keller and Regina Rogers; a son Brandon Rogers and his wife Adrianne; a Granddaughter, Sasha Mitchell and husband Aaron, three great grandsons, Kian Rogers, Keegan Hull and Devon Michell, (and one on the way expected by the end of July) and a niece Wilma Puckett. He is preceded in death by his parents and three daughters; Debbie Johnston, Cindy Lovejoy and Patty McCumber. Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.
