Obituary of Norma Vacca

Norma Lorraine Vacca, age 88, of Ft Scott Kansas passed away Friday September 19 at the Fort Scott Manor. Norma was born in rural Barton County near Verdella, MO, on October 21, 1925; the daughter of Emery and Agatha (Cliffman) Vacca. She attended school in Iantha, MO, and graduated from Liberal High School with the class of 1943. Norma lived most of her life in Ft Scott, Kansas where she worked for the Western Insurance and American States Insurance company. She was a faithful and appreciated employee for 35 years until her retirement in 1987. She loved to quilt, crochet and collect stamps. Norma was a member of the Liberal United Methodist Church. Survivors include two brothers; Wayne Vacca and wife Patty of Horton, MO, and Neil Vacca and wife Roxanne of Phoenix, AZ; and three sisters, Irma Darlington and husband Ray of Wichita, KS, Betty Allen and husband Bob of Peoria, AZ and Jean Williams and husband Bob of Joplin, MO; and many nieces and nephews.
