Freda Viola Williams, 92, of Lamar passed away, October 6, 2014. She was born April 8, 1922 to John and Lena Griffitt. Freda married Irwin Williams on July 31, 1946 in Girard, Kansas. They made their home in Barton County where she was a homemaker and also cleaned Lamar Bank and Trust Building for several years. She enjoyed family gatherings and her grandchildren. She was blessed with one daughter, Patsy Shaw of Lamar who survives as well as her grandchildren, Mitch Shaw and wife Amy, Steven Shaw and wife J.J. all of Lamar, and Travis Shaw and wife Stephanie of Bella Vista, Arkansas. Great grandchildren include Noah Shaw, Blaine Shaw, Trey Shaw, Gage Shaw, Lacie Winters, Olivia Shaw and Anthony Rupprecht.Preceeding her in death include 4 sisters, Lavon Onstott, Ida Carter, Waneta Carter and Mary Jane Edwards; Three brothers, William Griffitt, Junior Griffitt, and Jeff Griffitt. One great great grandson, Stetson Winters
