Beula Nadine Miller
Beula Nadine Miller, of Lamar, Mo., age 90, passed away on Friday, Nov. 7, 2014, in her home. She was born on Aug. 2, 1924, to Arthur and Alice Pugh Morgan.
Beula was a dedicated teacher. She taught in various county schools until she retired from Jasper. She obtained her master's degree from Pittsburg State University. She was a member of many organizations including, Red Haters, Fiber Arts Guild, Barton County Retirement Teachers, Missouri Retired Teachers Association, Lamar Saddle Club, Barton County Library Board and she was also the past President of BPW Club. She was also a member of Lamar Methodist Church.
Preceding her in death are her husband, Richard Miller; after he passed away she married Howard Dockery, who also passed away; her brother, Richard Morgan; and sister, Doris Onstott; sister-in-law, Jackie Morgan.
She is survived by her son, Gail and wife, Cinda, of Lamar; a daughter, Jama Stone, of Kiowa, Okla.; brother, Jimmy Morgan; and sister, Patsy Andrews, and her husband, Bill; sister-in-law, Linda Morgan; and eight grandchildren; nine greatgrandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren.
