As a young teenager I came to live with My Uncle Don & Aunt Hanna on July 4th. She called me her 'little firecracker'.She & I eventually developed an understanding and began to love each other.She would be the first person to tell you when you were wrong yet comfort you when you realized you were wrong and sorry for it.She knew my secrets and seemed to know more about me than I did. My Aunt Hanna showed me how to sew,save my pennies,bottle feed baby creatures,kill snakes,chase cows as well as enjoy dirt and flowers.She taught me about living by her example which created a moral compass for the rest of my life. She took a piece of me with her and left a bigger piece of her with me.I am so fortunate that she was/is part of my life forever.
