Carla Leigh McMasters Hammers, 50 of Lamar, Mo passed away Tuesday, March 14, 2017 after a courageous 14 year battle with cancer. She was born October 18, 1966 in El Dorado Springs, MO to James Elvin and Lula Belle (Oyler) McMasters. She was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith. She is survived by her sons: Tyler McMasters, Lamar, MO; Brandon Hammers (Michelle), Lamar, MO; Noah Hammers, Mulberry, KS; Dustin Hammers (Traci), Nevada, MO and daughters: Shelly Winningham (Chris), Wyandotte, OK; Amanda Hammers, Libby, MT; brothers; Carl McMasters and Robert Walker, sisters: Elizabeth McMasters and Norma Thomason (John) and 15 grandchildren. Carla was preceded in death by her parents and 2 brothers James Elvin McMasters Jr and Kenneth Norman McMasters.
