Obituary of Arthur Farmer

Arthur 'Art' Campbell Farmer Jr. was born June 28, 1936 to Arthur Farmer and Pauline Edwinna Claunch. Art loved working, staying employed well into his seventies. He worked as a delivery driver for Coca Cola, a long-haul trucker, and then retired as a security guard. Art also loved golf and spending time with his family. He is survived by his first wife of 28 years, Alice Faye Farmer, mother of his two daughters, Aleta Diane Beaty, wife of Dr. David Beaty and, Mary Jane Farmer, a 20 year Navy Veteran. His two step-daughters include Teresa Taylor, wife of Don Taylor and Joyce Engle, wife of Joe Engle. His brother Mack Farmer, husband of Kathy. He also leaves behind 9 grand children--Dionne Reese, Drew Beaty, Beth Bazel, Tony Spurling, Rachel Spurling, Amy Spurling, Joseph Engle, Lindsey Tidball, and Jake Engle--and 13 great grand children. He is preceded in death by his father, Arthur Farmer, mother, Pauline Edwinna Farmer, brother Mike Farmer and Chris Farmer, wife of 14 years.
