Obituary of Sharron M. Middleton

Sharon Marie Middleton, of Lamar, a loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother and great grandmother, passed away in her home on December 23, after an 8 year battle with cancer.  Sharron was a home maker and a devoted wife and mother; she loved her family and was committed to providing a warm and caring home.  She has lived and travelled to many different states but decided to make Lamar, MO her Home. She was preceded in death by her husband James A. Middleton Sr., her son, James A. Middleton Jr. , a daughter, Peggy L Middleton, her parents Harry Austin Stamm and Jewell Mae Williams Stamm and her brother Kevin Dwayne Stamm. Sharron is survived by Her sons Elmer of Joplin, Matthew of Lamar, Harry of Springfield; and a daughter, Candace Dill, of Lamar. Also surviving are 15 grandchildren; Austin, Michaela, Kit, Nichole, Shyler, Dakota, Hollie, Hunter, Dakota, Zoey, Cora, Brooklyn, Peyton, Danika, and Heather Ann; 3 great grandchildren; Blake, Chloe and Lainey;  3 brothers, Robert of Farmington , MO, Billy of Ste. Genevieve, MO,  and Marvin of Momence,  IL; 6 sisters; Evelyn of Farmington, MO, Brenda of Ste. Genevieve, MO, Charlene  of Poplar Bluff, MO, Vickie of Ste. Genevieve, MO, Susan of Burlington, CT. and Linda of Liberty, MO, and many nieces, nephews and in-laws too numerous to mention. Sharron will be remembered for how much she loved life, enjoyed her family, live music, loved to dance, joke around and just have fun. In keeping with her wishes she was cremated. There will be a memorial service at the Cornerstone Baptist Church Sunday January 14^th at 3:30 P.M.  Brother Jack Slade will officiate. There will be a visitation at the Church beginning at 2 30 P.M. and a reception following the memorial service.  A private family burial at will follow at a later date. In Lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be sent to the family in care of the Konantz Warden funeral home.
