Obituary of William Woods
William Curtis Woods, 80 of Lamar, MO passed away Friday, April 12, 2019.
He was born August 20, 1938 in Visalia, CA to Curtis Blake Woods and Kate Read (Gilbert) Woods. He was a farmer and truck driver. He was in the Air Force and was an air plane mechanic and drove a truck and a tug.
He graduated from Mt. Whitney High School in California.
He married Peggy Sue Morris March 26, 1961 in Visalia, California.
He is survived by his wife of the home, daughter Cindy Woods, Blue Springs, MO, grandsons; Christopher Mitchell and Sammy Mitchell, one great grandson Damian Mitchell, brothers; Johnny Woods and Richard Woods of California and sisters Louise Stevenson and Joyce Costa of California.
He was preceded in death by his son Jeff Woods and one sister Pauline Robertson.
