Obituary of Joseph A Barger

Joseph A Barger, age 76 of Liberal, MO, passed away at home May 15, 2019 after battling cancer. He leaves behind his wife of 34 years, Euleta Dickerson Barger of the home, one son, Joseph R Barger, also of the home, two step daughters, Tamelia Edwards of Galesburg, KS and Jennifer Dickerson of College Station, TX, two sisters, Mary Ann McCarthy of Lamar, MO and Donna Waggerman of Kansas City, MO, Seven grandchildren, one great grandchild and many nieces and nephews. 
 

Joe was a country boy at heart despite being born and raised in Kansas City, MO.  Joe was a great cook and a great all-around outdoorsman who loved his family. He retired from Thorco as nightshift supervisor .   

There will be a Celebration of Life June 1, 2019 at 3:00 pm
at the home at 309 N Hill St, Liberal, MO 64762.  Bring memories, stories and pictures to share. Potluck to follow. Bring a covered dish.
