I knew Betty when she worked at Golden Business Forms. She also had known my stepfather as he had given her a job several years before that and she was grateful toward him. She was such a special spirit. She talked about her kids often and at that time, Cheyenne was just around 6 years old or so. I talked with Betty about enrolling Cheyenne in school and then I took Cheyenne to Joplin with me one Saturday and bought her a bunch of clothes and all her school supplies. I also gave her a birthday party there at work. Betty had me over to her house a few times and she always had all kinds of animals. She sure loved her animals! I actually had gotten a kitten from her. It was a pleasure getting to know her. I hadn't seen her in years but I had known that the last time I saw her, she seemed happy. She was a hard worker, a good and loyal friend, and such a fun person. I was so saddened to hear of her passing. My condolences to her family and friends.
