Obituary of Michael Brandon Rapue
Please share a memory of Michael to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Michael Brandon Rapue of Lamar, MO was born April 1, 1989 to Evelyn Mae Rapue in Olatha KS. He lived his life making everyone he met smile and laugh. He was a funny man, making fun of himself to get others to brighten up if needed. He was a joker. Michael had a huge heart that most would call made of gold. While not always perfect, he would tell you that "none are, but the Lord above". He was a member of the First Nazarene Church of Lamar, MO. His dream was to go into boys homes and prisons to share his story and to help save at least one person from going down the same road he had once gone down himself. Michael loved children and desired to have a family of his own. He married Dusty Chartier on March 22, 2018, a short 7 months before he passed away. He was a friend and brother to all he cared for. He would give the shirt (or hoodie) off his back, in an instant, to keep another person warm. He tried his best to make sure his friends had all they needed. That was his heart and who he was to all that knew him. Michael left this earth October 27, 2018 and we pray he finally has the peace he deserves! He leaves behind a brother Mitchell, many cousins, both 1st, and 2nd. aunts and uncles and a grandmother. He is preceded in death by his Grandpa John, Grandma LuTricia, and mother, Evelyn. Michael was loved and will be missed. His legacy will forever remain!
