Obituary of Dennis Elmer Miller

Dennis E. Miller was born October 12, 1948 to Elmer and Delila Miller in Apple Creek, Ohio. He received Christ and was baptized into the Mennonite church in his youth. He married the love of his life, Mary Ann Troyer of Goshen, Indiana on October 23, 1971. He was ordained to the ministry in 1974 where he served faithfully until his death. He is preceded in death by his parents and six siblings. He is survived by his loving wife, Mary Ann, 4 brothers, 3 sisters, and a number of nieces and nephews. He is also survived by 7 children: Tom (Dena) Miller, Ron (Lacey) Miller, Ruby (Timothy) Miller, Tim (Marie) Miller, Amos (Elise) Miller, Aaron Miller, Kaleb (Beverly) Miller, and 20 grandchildren. He passed away on August 19, 2020 at his residence from congestive heart failure. He was a faithful husband, loving father, adored “dawdy”, and a steadfast example to all. A visitation will be held on Sunday August 23, 2020 from 2:00 to 5:00 PM followed by a memorial service at the Golden City Mennonite Church in Newport, MO.
