Doris Edna Titsworth, age 89, of Golden City, Missouri, passed away on Friday, July 9, 2021. She was born May 20, 1932, on the farm near Prairie View, Kansas, the daughter of Adolph and Amelia (Roeder) Meyer.
For over 40 years, Doris was a dedicated educator and mentor in various school districts across Kansas, primarily in Scott City. In that time, she impacted thousands of elementary-level students. Doris was a member of the United Methodist Church and various Circle groups, Stone Club WPFA as well as the Retired Teachers Association.
She is survived by her daughter April (Scott) Foos of Golden City, MO, son Jim (Jan) Titsworth of Keller, TX and grandchildren, Molly (Will) Urton, Alex (Austin) Cooper, Mitchell Titsworth, Lauren Titsworth and great-granddaughter Khloe Urton.
