My Aunt Berta was one of the funnest human beings in the world. She told me a life lesson she always wanted me to remember was to never live your life by what others are going to judge you for but by your relationship with God. Which is different for every individual, no matter how many people try to convince you to live a certain way in the name of God. You have to have your own relationship with him & actually listen to learn, not to just convince yourself you are doing the right & He will show you the right way. That is how she lived her life. She was unapologetically Berta & she was so loved. I'm going to miss her terribly & so will her favorite little girl, my daughter. We figured out at one point in time our actual blood relation, but she was just Aunt Berta. We had so many SF adventures, including one time she told us to just follow her instead of using our GPS, then got over & took an exit at the last minute & we lost her, lol, but we thanks to cell phones, we found each other again. She was the most amazingly kookie in the best way possible lady ever & I will never forget her. I have way more memories than photos, but that's ok. I love you, Aunt Berta.

She loved to mow her yard. If you offered to pay someone to do the mowing she would get upset. She found a tranquility in mowing. Here is a picture of her mowing if you knew her humor you would find laughter in this photo.

Aunt Berta was a great Aunt! I remember alot of fond momories with her, especially as a child. We had so much fun. My cousin Kim & I would beg to spend the nights with her. Those were the best memories we share and always will. She will be greatly missed.

Such a loss of a sweet funny cousin and friend. Some things I learned about Alberta over the years… she loved family genealogy, she loved her feral cats, she was a truck driver for several years, she loved the San Francisco Bay area, and she had a wonderful sense of humor! We will miss you greatly Alberta! I thank my lucky stars that my husband, Steve, and I were able to meet you in July 2021!

She was a beautiful soul and Heaven has gained another vivacious woman who will light up the sky. I miss her so dearly. My heart has lost another piece to a person I loved so much. For only being 5'2" she was bigger than life in personality and the way she loved her family and friends. I will always have the best memories of all our numerous San Francisco trips and your visits to California and all my visits to Missouri. I love you so dearly like a mom, aunt and a friend. Luv ya
