Obituary of Dwayne Marion Sprouls

Dwayne Marion Sprouls , 66, passed away on December 14, 2021 at his home in Liberal, MO. Dwayne was born in Lamar, MO to Laverne (Miller) and Marion Sprouls on October 24, 1955. He graduated from Liberal High School in 1974. He worked as a mechanic while in school. Dwayne worked several jobs including 5 years for Younger Construction, Barton County Ford, Gilkey’s, and Lamar Auto Park, before opening Sprouls Garage in the early 90s. In 1998, he began a 13-year career working for this brother at Sprouls Construction. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and traveling. He is survived by his wife Sandy; daughters, Sandra (Jack) Kennedy of Liberal, MO and Brittany (Amy) Spurling of Liberal, MO; son, Jason Sprouls of Jasper, MO; six granddaughters, Masha, T’ariah, Shelby, Mykala, Diamond, and Izabelle; and two great granddaughters, Era and Wrenleigh. He is also survived by his mother Ellen “Laverne” Sprouls; brothers Dwight (Cindy) Sprouls, and Doug (Pam) Sprouls; sisters, Diann (Randy) Marti, and Darla (Michael) Loy; and by many nieces, nephews and extended family. Dwayne was preceded in death by his father, Marion Sprouls. The family will receive visitors from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM on Friday December 17, 2021 at the Iantha Community Center.
