Obituary of Paul Cameron Hurlburt

Paul Cameron Hurlburt passed away on January 3rd at the age of 93 after a long battle with kidney failure. He was born in Denver, CO on August 28, 1929, to Tracy Cameron and Naomi Morris Hurlburt. On October 26, 1950 he married Geneva Piearcy and together they had three children.
Paul served in the Army from 1950 to 1953 with the C Battery 32nd North American Air Command. He was a carpenter by trade. Paul moved to Irwin, Missouri from Brighton, CO in August 1969 where he raised cattle and continued his carpentry and construction work.
He is survived by all three of their children, Michael Bruce Hurlburt of Sheldon MO, Debora Castle and husband Scott of Sheldon, MO, and Barbara Wickware and husband Steve of Pelsor, AR. He is also survived by one sister, Patricia Hurlburt of Sheldon, eight grandchildren, Jennifer (John) Whittaker, John Rawlings, Jason (Tonya) Rawlings, Erik Hurlburt, Jeff Hurlburt, Lauren Hurlburt, Casey Castle and Erin Rivero and husband Lance Stoltzfus, and seven great-grandchildren, Jordan and James Whittaker, Cameron and Jazmine Rawlings, Logan and Breanna Rawlings, Drake Hurlburt and Kyrra Hurlburt along with numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by both of his parents, his spouse of 72 years, Geneva who passed on November 10th, and five siblings, Vivian Clark, Mildred (Mitzi) Knox, Elsie Lewis, Harley Hurlburt and Howard Hurlburt.
