When my ex- husband, Jeff Collins and I, Mary were a young couple with two young boys, Jeff went to work helping Wendell on his wonderful, beautiful farm on the bluffs west of Sheldon. He and Zola were always good to us! We spent many hours on their beautiful land and just visiting as well as working. Wendell even showed us where he worked as a coal miner. He will be greatly missed. Condolences to his family.
