Carol was a good friend to my mom and dad (the Schuberts) in Lamar. I remember both of them bragging about her baking skills (angel food cake, maybe?) and expressing how much they enjoyed her company. I'm praying for your family as you adjust to her absence.

There is a line from a Randy Travis song that came to mind the moment I learned Carol had gotten her ticket for home. “I guess it's not what you take when you leave this world behind you It's what you leave behind you when you go.” Carol leaves her love of God and the love for her family and friends right here in our hearts. Matt and I will miss you.

I worked with Csrol at Good Samaritan..she was a wonderful lady I enjoyed working with her..then ivan and i got to know her and Howard and looked forward each yezr for The fair and see their car.. She will be greatly missed. Ivan and Denzil Voorhees

Carol worked with me at Good Samaritan and I was always assured if she was going to do something, she followed through. She did it correctly and on time always. She will be missed a lot by so many people. Such a special caring person. Janet Sitton
