Obituary of Rosemary Marie Rice

Rosemary M. Rice passed away on Wednesday July 19, 2023. She was born on December 16, 1941, to Helen (Cook) and Ray Murray. She grew up in Liberal, MO and graduated from Liberal High School. She worked in several places in her life including, as a CNA in Nevada, MO, a waitress at Babe’s Restaurant in Lamar, MO, and at Thorco from which she retired in 2004. Rosemary loved her grandchildren, her miniature Beagles, finding deals while shopping at the Dollar Tree, fishing, and filling her yard with windmills. She is survived by her children Cecil Fyock of Carl Junction, MO, Gene Fyock of Lamar, MO, Robert “Bob” (Roberta) Fyock of El Dorado Springs, MO, Missy Arlint of West Plains, MO, Patty Milligan of Nevada, MO, Carrie Meyers of El Dorado Springs, MO, Billy (Emilie) Reese of Lamar, MO, Evelyn Barlow of Lebanon, MO, and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, brother Jesse Murray, grandson Billy Ray Lee Reese, and long-time companion Roland Thomas Fredericks. Donations in lieu of flowers can be made to the First Christian Church of Lamar or The Good Samaritan Shop. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday August 12, 2023, at Konantz Warden Funeral Home.
