Kenneth Musgrove, 84, Lamar, MO, went to his eternal home, June 26, 2013, following a sudden illness. He was born September 23, 1928, in Stoutsville, MO to Charles Chester and Alice May (Lutz) Musgrove.
Kenneth married Violet May Kinder, August 24, 1947, in Detroit, MI. He went to work for Southwestern Bell/AT&T in 1948, and retired after thirty five years of service in 1983. He was the founder of the Full Gospel Tabernacle. Their first worship service was Jan 2, 1961. Kenneth made many friends throughout his ministry and mission work and his affiliation with Living Faith Church of God, Lucedale, MS. He took Christmas to the Navajo Reservation, celebrating 50 years last Christmas. Kenneth also served as Lamar's Fire Chief in the 1960's, and logged walnut lumber for use as gun stocks for WWII weapons.
Kenneth is preceded in death by his parents; an infant daughter, Sharon Alice Musgrove; two brothers Albert Ray Musgrove and Charles Junior Musgrove; four sisters Margaret "Peggy" Duty, Odetta Brown, Patricia Kelly and Norma Watkins
Survivors include his wife, Violet, of the home; sons Charles David and wife, Patricia, Tulsa, OK, Kenneth Edward "Ed" and wife, Connie, Lamar, MO and Peter Michael "Mike" and wife, Sabine, Waynesville, MO; six grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren.
