I will always remember Bridget fondly, and have many good memories of her good humor and kindness. She laughed loud and often, and when she was excited, nobody could understand a word she said. In the days before air conditioning, my sisters and brother loved to go visit over there, because she would insist we each got a melon of our very own from her abundant garden. Of course, we always wanted the biggest one.
