Obituary of Bridget Weber

Bridget Agnes Weber, 89, of Lamar, MO, passed away at Good Shepherd Nursing Home, November 17, 2013. She was born January 7, 1924, in Crevvy Corners, Ballyshannon, County Donnegal, Ireland, to Patrick and Elsie (Gallogley) McCafferty. Bridget married Roy Charles Weber, April 26, 1943, in Lisburn, Ireland. She came to the United States as a young bride in 1946. They made their home in Cedar County, MO from 1951 until they retired and moved to Lamar, MO in 2002. Bridget raised her family of five children the old fashioned way. She worked hard to assist her husband to ensure the family would prosper and give their children a better life. Sunday Mass was important to her, and obligatory for her family. She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, Lamar, MO. Bridget is survived by sons, Roy, John and William; daughters, Linda and Donna; twenty five grandchildren; forty four great grandchildren. Bridget was preceded in death by her husband Roy Sr., several brothers and sisters, and her parents. She was loved and will be greatly missed by her family.
