I would like to say on behalf of all the staff at Mercy Aurora ED that we were all saddened by the news of this great mans passing. He was a wonderful, fun loving, rock until you drop kind of guy. He was someone that made this world a bit better with each passing day he was on this earth. I have many fond memories of jamming out to music with him while working and him saying "turn it up that's a good one!" I was also lucky enough to be graced with a piece of art work he made just for me, after a very tough night in our little ER. Thank you Dr. Sprenkle for making our little place rock!!! And I thank God that I was lucky enough to cross paths with such a wonderful soul.
Our thoughts and prayer go out to his family. From all of us at Mercy Aurora ED "God bless all of you"

Tim was really one of a kind. He was an awesome human, doctor, father, grandfather, coworker, and friend. We had many weekend nights working at BCMH. He was bluntly honest & funny. Everyone acknowledged his great stitchwork and his talent in the ER . You always knew when his hard work you would be in his office loud rock playing, this meant a powerful mind at work, So enter your own risk if you had something to ask him. Staff And friends would raze him for his twearky moments, it was all in love of coarse. I’m sure he’ll be greatly missed . Especially loved his artistic ability. Many condolences to his family and friends .
Much Love, Koni Tyler

Just over 20 years ago I did my OB rotation as an LPN, and Dr. Sprenkle was the doctor working at that time, of course he was awesome! I later had professional dealings as an LPN in a local nursing home with him, he was always kind, always with humor as well. I had great respect for him and was sorry to hear about his passing. The only thing I can think about is the fact that he was so good, God needed him upstairs. He will be missed by many. Prayers for peace for his family during this difficult time.

I am a cousin of Timothy's mother Lorene Sprenkle and I knew him when he was a little baby boy as I had just finished grade school and was going into high school in the fall of 1962 and all of us kids tried to help take care of him whenever we got together for family reunions in the summers at our grandparents home in Pryor Oklahoma. He will be missed by all of his cousins, aunts & uncles, his children, his sisters and his parents. May he rest in peace and may the family all know that he is in a safer place. May God watch over all of them at this time of sorrow and that they have faith in God and he will get them through this and prayers are being sent their way.

I am heart broken. Dr. Timothy Lee Sprenkle, a man I highly respected, liked and called a friend has left us. We worked together for many years at BCMH/ CBCH delivering babies and in the ER. Some people took exception to his bedside manner, the man couldn't even sugar coat candy and told his patients the truth even when it hurt. But, if you came into the ER with a life threatening emergency, he was your best chance of surviving.
We were on duty in the ER the night we learned my oldest grandson was going to have to be born by emergency c-section. Before I clocked out to follow the ambulance “South”, he told me things looked bad with tears running down his face. That should have told me everything I needed to know.
I want to thank his children and parents for sharing this wonderful man with us all these years. His dying will leave a huge hole in all of our lives, and the world a sadder, darker place

As a co-worker at WCMH at Potosi, I was just getting to know Dr. Sprenkle via several conversations at the ED and after staff meetings, including on that one day he came back to work after the first serious infection. Found him to be pleasant with a keen sense of humor. We are all still in shock at our facility and will miss him greatly! We were informed that his exceptional parents contacted our Administration to express their appreciation of our welcoming and acceptance of their son to our family here. Dr. Sprenkle left a lasting impression during his short tenure at Potosi. Thank you for sharing him with us!

I have worked with Dr. Sprenkle and cared for his patients for more than 20 years. He was also my physician and he cared for my late husband as well. Rob (43), was very comfortable and confident with having Dr. Sprenkle caring for him, especially in his last 6 months of life. And, sometimes, the reassurance / emotional support you get from your physician can be just as "healing" and bring more peace of mind than treatments given to heal us or at least, try to make us better. He treated Rob with respect and dignity and I am forever grateful that he treated the love of my life with the same compassion I would give Rob or anyone I've ever cared for; especially those loved ones that are the closest to us. Thank you Dr. Sprenkle and may you rest in peace. My sincere condolences to his family.

Prayers to all the family of Dr. Sprenkle. I believe Dr. Sprenkle was very instrumental in saving my Dad's life in 1995, when his esophogus ruptured and he had food & drink going into his body cavity for 2 weeks, causing infection, before the rupture was detected. Dr. Sprenkle & Dr. Subramanian (from Carthage) found the rupture, and got him to the sugeon, Dr. Mangalot. Dr. Sprenkle was my Dad's Dr. from that day on, about 23 years, until he quit his practice in Lamar.
I know he has helped many, many people over his years of service, as their personal physician, and working the ER. Thank you for dedicating your life to take care of people's medical needs.

Dr. Sprenkle saved my daughter’s life almost 17 years ago when she was only 2 years old. She was newly diagnosed with a very rare genetic condition and I rushed her to the ER. He selflessly called a specialist in PA as I asked and followed the treatment plan he was given. Not many doctors would listen to a hysterical mother that was certain her child was dying, let alone a doctor he didn’t know 1,000+ miles away. This kid he saved graduated high school last year.
